Local pick up: four bolt block, heads, etc;
It's all in pieces and needs to be gone through thoroughly before putting all back together. This is the old crate motor advertised as "260 hp with the right manifold and carb". NOT a powerhouse even with a TPI on top, the cam is what it is for the motor.
I have the four bolt, two piece rear main block, iron heads, cam, cast crank, bearing caps, rods, pistons, lifters, timing chain, oil pump and gen 1 starter motor that is just sitting. I planned to rebuild it as a 383 DIY....went a different route. If you are local to Jacksonville, Florida or know someone in the area who could use a good project, bring a truck and come and get it.
All this would kill me to ship anywhere. Not even sure what to ask so I'll just say $150 for it. For an extra $50, I'll throw in a 4+3, bellhousing, yoke, pocket and shifter if someone needs a trans to go behind it.

Let's shoot for $150 for all the engine related parts. Pics upon request. We all know what dirty engine parts look like.

Still pick up only....
Bump $150 for the engine parts and $50 for the 85 4+3 gear box. 4spd and OD section have been separated.

Just a holiday bump. local guy with a big block vette had some interests but it fell through. Someone in Jacksonville Florida come and get this stuff. Or if you know someone local that might be interested, pass on my info.
