My air worked great til last week.
Now when I turn on auto or any direction, it blows boiling hot air, no other way to describe it.
No click for compressor. When I took it in, it didn;t have a leak or need freon the guy said, just a digital a/c/heat control unit.
It's the box over the radio, probably pulls out.
Maybe it's a gusess on his part but the hot air that comes out would melt an iceberg in 11 seconds.I'm suffering unless I'm driving in the a.m. only.
I need help badly! MZee

You are driving a 1990 ? Correct ? Doctor Don can't repair the A/C control head . That is the part you are describing. He can possibly fix the A/C programmer under dash. it has a series of Vacuum lines. mounts next to steering column. Is there a read out at all on the control head unit. please email me for pricing on the unit .

Heat blowing out. I turned it to off as there is no outside air coming in.
Windows down is it.

The garage it has been at for two days now is trying to figure it all out, when I mention something like this to help, they look at me as if I am telling them their business and I'm a dumbass that drives a hobby car , so "leave it for us to figure out", we know these cars,

I had the same problem on my 94. I unhooked the battery for a couple of minutes to clear the trouble codes. Hooked it back up and I had cold air again. Has that been tried?
