FS: 1992 Dana 36 with 3.73 gears
For Sale C4 parts:
I have a 1992 Dana 36 differential with 3.73 gears installed. This unit was removed from my car a year ago to install a conversion to a Dana 44 rear from a 6 speed car. The gears and bearings are all in excellent condition. This gear ratio is perfect for stock auto trans cars that came with the 2.56 ratio. It really wakes up the car!
The unit is in excellent condition with one condition issue. The pinion seal leaks and will need to be replaced before using. This is an easy fix with the diff open as it is.
I also have the "Bat Wing" and 1/2 shafts, the auto trans drive shaft, the trans to diff brace, the wheel spindles and some suspension parts. All these parts were removed from my car when I converted to the Dana 44 rear end.
I am asking $500 for the 3.73 differential unit. This conversion costs about $1200 if purchased from Ecklers or Mid america Corvettes.
