WTB 1990/1991 Bose CD Head Unit
Not much to work on with the new car, but I did find that my CD player on the new ZR1 doesn't take CDs and makes a bit of noise.
Does anyone have a 1990 or '91 Bose CD head unit they don't need? I don't want to spend a ton of money since I can have mine fixed worst case.
Thanks!
Chris

I spoke to him today. I was hoping to find a good used one a bit cheaper. I know his work is first rate, but, man, so is the price. I'm not quite ready to drop that kind of coin just yet.
I'll have to live without CD for a little bit and just use my MP3 adapter for a while longer. My '96 is one of the few with only a cassette, so it's not too big a deal to listen to the 2 stations in town that still play music....

That was another thought. Plus a pre-1994 radio won't play CDRs....only store bought albums.
It's 200 to rebuild it to factory spec (and not be able to play burned CDs). It's an additional 250....450 total....to upgrade it to the later style CD internals. Another 100 if I want an aux jack added.
My well used RF transmitter or a new cassette adapter will have to suffice.....I have other expenses at the moment that take priority.
