Thanks, and I understand your point. However, these are still 20-25 year old solid state electronics. They fail over time/heat/etc. A brand new one is $100, correct. I bought my last used one at the junkyard for $9.50. The one I bought before that at the junkyard didn't work. I have a 50% success rate so far with buying used ones. Also, I don't need the motor, so it's an unnecessary expense and weight for shipping it.
