I think you have your bcc incorrect. A AAMN is from a 1987 J,B body 2.0L Automatic gm 16063562 .

Cool thanks , it's what a customer has in their 86 pace car (early) Just truing to locate what they had in the ecm. makes perfect sense we looked through tove r20 ECM's in stock and nothing close to that

Do you know what e prom might work in it . I have a AANK . ???

You can use any memcal from any tpi vette 86-89 out of the 1227165 ecm. You didn't state if this is a automatic or manual trans. If you sell him a 89 memcal he will need to unplug his ninth injector. On the ecm throughout the years gm changed the ac pressure between normally open and normally closed. So if the fan runs all the time this will need to be corrected with grounding the wire at the switch or ecm or making it open. This is pin D11 of the ecm a dark blue wire. It will help activate the secondary cooling fa, Bccs can be found at chevythunder.com under the years listed in there main page.The AANK will work just fine for a automatic tpi.

I have an 86 brand new in box Prom part # 1228473 with AARL calibration--following updates this shows to be the latest calibration--without knowing what you started with its hard to say what this may have addressed--they do show a AANM for 86 corvette. Will let this go for 60.00 shipped
