FS: LT4 shortblock, heads, intake, valve train, exhaust, and misc parts
I had been hanging on to my stock LT4 after I built the new motor in case I ever wanted to take it back to stock. Now that I've sold the car, I finally have to let it go
Had 67,844 miles when I pulled it and built my other motor. All parts are stock from 1996 LT4 (VIN available via PM on request).
Some Info on the engine: When the stock engine had about 35K miles, I took it to the dealer to have the intake gasket redone as it was leaking at the rear of the valley. The tech accidentally allowed a washer to drop in to the #7 intake port during the job, then started it up. It cracked the combustion chamber of the head but just put a few nicks in the top of the piston. I ran a different head on that side (that I've since sold) for another 30K plus miles.
Here's what I have. All prices are Plus shipping from Redmond, WA:

- Short block (block, crank, rods, pistons, stock cam, lifter spider, oil filter mount, oil pump, oil pump drive gear, timing cover, timing chain / water pump drive, oil pan): $1000
- Heads (one perfect, one with cracked #7 chamber, valves, stock springs / retainers, studs, with stock rocker arm nuts) I've been told by a reputable shop that the damaged one can be welded/repaired for a couple hundred $ but I never pursued it. $500
- Composite valve covers (VGC with gaskets): $180
- Roller Rockers: $100
- Exhaust manifolds (pair): $75
- Original cat-back exhaust, complete with mufflers. This is actually located in the western suburbs of Chicago at my brother's place -- pickup only as it's still complete: $100
- Throttlebody (with "grand sport cover, but no IAC/coolant passage or TPS): $50
- Lifters with retainer plates and spider: $40
- Upper Alternator bracket: $10
- Head bolts: Free
- flywheel and clutch bolts: Free

Just added the throttlebody to the list above (forgot about it last night)
I'd like to keep it together with the cover plate.
'89 Bowtie, I'm replying to your PM right now. Thanks!

Mark, I assume the Opti was in fine working order when the LT4 was pulled? If so I'm interested in it and the pushrods.
Thanks,
Lee
P.S. Shipping would be to 41094...cheapest is fine. I'm in no hurry.
