FS: D44 IRS. 3.90 gear with spool.
One more race Nov 1-2 and I am moving away from IRS in my Drag Race 84 Corvette forever.
This is the rear end from what I believe this is the fastest and hardest leaving IRS C4 Corvette in the world. Has been 1.24 60fts on a 28X10.5 slick.... 8 second 1/4 miles.
Factory GM D44 housing. Yes its been repaired/welded in its lifetime.
Yukon 3.90 ratio ring and pinion.
Yukon 30 spline spool modified to fit IRS.
GM inner stub axles modified for spool.
Batwing already has Poly Bushings installed.
Complete with early 1984 to 1987 narrow suspension.
2 sets GM halfshafts.
1.5 sets GM outer stub axles.
New 4 link trailing arms.
Used good condition camber arms, toe rods and suspension uprights and wheel brgs. Brake calipers ground to clear 15X12 wheels.
Fabricated shock brackets for Koni Double Adjustable shocks.
VB&P billet UJoint cap kit.
1984 Z51 spring.
Any new Spicer UJoints and straps bolts I have extra.
Custom extended bump stops (Poly).
Sorry but the Koni shocks were loaned to me and I cannot sell them however I will be happy to give the buyer the correct PN and lengths for proper shocks from Koni, QA1 or ViKing.... as well as set up info and tuning help.
This could be used in an 88-96 Corvette but you will have to re-use the camber arms and brackets, Suspension Upright/Knuckle, outer stub axles and brakes currently on your car. The rest of it, D44 third member, batwing, haf shafts, billet UJoint strap kit, Z51 rear spring, shock brackets, 4 link bars, bump stops, ect will bolt right up.
$1000.00
Would love to make you a package deal with my TH350.... if you want to go fast on IRS this is what you need.

Interest in C4 rear-end parts
hey Reckless,
I was hoping to hear from you: I emailed yesterday about buying most of the rear-end stuff, except the suspension arms and hub carriers.
I was offering $800 & shipping cost.
Will that work for you?
Terry
