Why?

The opti will be scarce as hens teeth. I upgraded my cam gear and front cover to use the 94 and up opti. Easier to find, and I had to rebuild the engine anyway.

I'll look in the closet this weekend - might have the water pump.

I have a 92 water pump that works fine. Changed it for the heck of it when I changed my opti.

what is a petris opti water pump? are those high volume, and better for c-4's that run a little hot?? or, just a new factory delco be better, with less problems ?? thanks, kmac.

Default water pump

My mistake, thanks. But, on the subject, if changing the water pump on a 90 l-98, is it better to go with a high volume, or stay with a stock Delco. Will they run cooler with the high? Or is that asking for more problems. Any preference on that ? I'm new here, with my first Vette, with a couple issues..... Thanks, for any reply, Kmac.
