Air pump delete kit
I installed this system (partly) on my 89 but never torqued it down.
The instructions say, "on some 85-87 models, you will need to use a shorter belt." Well... if you want the car to run and turn the alternator and the water pump, you will need a shorter belt regardless of what year your car is.
If that's not a problem for you, this kit is all yours. I would rather have the stock belt size, so I put my air pump back on.
It costs $169 from TPIS. I'm wanting $125 plus shipping.

Uhhh....Why?
Can't be an NCRS issue if you considered the delete kit. It's EASY to find a shorter belt. And, to replace it, just take it with you.
I have an 89, am running (I think) a 1" shorter belt. I bought two, and returned the one I didn't need. Installing a serpenting belt is pretty darn easy-peasy.
Less costly than losing money on the delete kit too!
