Do you know if this will work on an 85? I heard somewhere they changed the design, just not sure how much.

Sorry no idea!
I know this mount had a third hole that was trimmed off so the mount would sit flat against the firewall.
That hole sat up on the flange at the base of the steering column and cocked the mount/pedal to the right towards the trans tunnel.
