WTT: Dana 36 with 259s (GM1) for Dana 36 lower gears
Let me know what you have would prefer somewhere in the 307 - 345 range for my 94 automatic. Thanks

You have a Dana 36 in your car.. All automatic vettes had the 36, Manuals had the 44..
Unless you swapped it.. Just making you aware so you don't get the wrong gearset

Here's what I would consider if you wanted a gear change. I'd buy a used '90 D44 with a 3.33 ratio or a 3.45 D44 from most of the later C4 M6 cars. You would need the drive-shaft and the D44 C-beam but it would be an OE build and likely competitively priced.
The 3.33 ratio of a '90 might be ideal. If you shop hard you could do well. Be patient. You could also find a 3.54 ratio if you chopped harder from an '89 and of course a D44 from an '88 or earlier 4+ car would be a 3.07.
I wouldn't rule out a D44 swap.
It's certainly not less expensive than a trade but if you can't find one that is still in the car that you could drive I'd maybe NOT be interested in a trade anyway.
