FS: Passenger air bag switch
I have an aftermarket air bag cutoff switch I put in my 96 so I could put a car seat and have my boys enjoy the occasional ride. I'm parting out the car so I no longer need it. Fits 94-96 corvettes and is plug and play. You do have to remove the dash pad to get to the air bag plug, but that's not much work.

Do you think this will work on a 99? I assume the connectors are different but if this is aftermarket I think I would be able to get this to work. I really need something so I can take my boys with me.

You "may" have to change the air bag plug on the switch, but otherwise it would certainly work. You can find the connectors easily if it is not the same. I think all the gm plugs have been the same for a while though. It looked similar to the plug on my 00 suburban, but I never tried to plug it in.

If that's the case I'm definitely interested. Besides opening up the dash, what's required for this to be installed? Just disconnect and reconnect the airbag and mount the switch? Does it have a light that has to be installed?
How do you want payment?

There is a light you can hook up, just power and ground. I never wired up the light. There are two plugs to bypass the stock airbag wiring. Plug and play if the plugs indeed match. Of course you have to route the switch box somewhere. It was a snug fit, but it worked in the c4 center console.
