Default WTB '96 CE 9.5" Wheels

My original wheels were long gone when I bought my '96 CE. It's a Z51 car, so I'm looking for original Collectors Edition (or C4 ZR1) 9.5" wide wheels. Thanks.

They were 8.5s on front and 9.5s in the rear Stock. Actually ZR-1 OEM wheels will stick outside the rear fenders they were 9.5 front and 11.0 rears

where are you located? I've got a set - I was in the process of refinishing, and they're only needing paint. shipping on these things is cost prohibitive.

In '96, the Z51 handling package uses 4 9.5x17 (275/40/17) on all 4 corners. Makes it harder to find a set since Z51 CEs seems pretty rare. Therefore, I'm also looking for fronts of ZR1s or the rears of most(non Z51) CEs. So if anybody has just 2, that will help. Thanks.

I also have the Z51 option on my CE and from what I've researched, less than 10% of all '96 Corvettes had the option. You are right, that is going to be a real tough find, but I wish you luck.

I tried to find them too.

However I settled on 17' x 9" ones on all four corners. They are big enough to mount the 275/40/17 stock size tires and look identical to the 9.5" ones.

Before I get a lot of static about only being 8.5" or 9.5", the 9" ones came on the Camaro SS.

Good luck.

yeah that's what was on my 97 Camaro ss 17x9's with 275/40/17's. always ran kuhmos and they lasted about 16000 miles and only cost about 125 each. good grip.

Those look perfect. Makes me want to try my 17x9 WS6 wheels for fun.

This is all very good info. I didn't realize the 'collector's edition' center caps would also fit on something else so close. Very nice!

It looks like you have the corvette flag emblems on these 9" Camaro SS wheels- did you get them somewhere separately or did you take them off the existing wheels and they fit the Camaro ones? I have a line on four 9" camaro SS wheels but with no center cap. Wondering if the center cap out of my stock sawblades would work. TYIA!
