Will this fit a stock 1996 LT-4 ? Or is this the original part # for this car?

IIRC, the blue tag ZF was the later units and would've only been found on LT-1 and LT-4 cars so it should fit. Someone will probably step in and confirm/correct that though.

I can confirm that my LT4 came with a blue tag ZF.

Just make sure if it is from a ZR1/LT5 or not. The input shaft length is different.

190.5mm for LT5 and 159.5mm for L98/LT1/Lt4

Yes sir Exact fit for late model C4's (1994 thru 1996)

Yeah blue tag is later. Black tag is stronger but make more noise.
