FS GM Convertible Hardtop
GM hardtop. Color is a shade of maroon. It has a few chips and scratches. Weather strip is good with the exception of some small nicks. See pics. Has a little bit of warn fiberglass on the back lip from not being stored properly. Located in Bensenville, IL. 60106. Pick up preferred but will ship if buyer pays actual freight cost.

Sorry for the delayed response.
This top would be a direct fit for 89 - 96. Some modifications would be needed for the 86-88 such as replacing the interior piece around the windshield and adding some mounting brackets by where the seat belts mount.

If you are interested in a top don't be afraid of the shipping. Bought a a top from Bob last year and shipping was a minor logistical problem. It was well packed and arrived intact at a buddies auto shop. I thought shipping cost was reasonable and figured it into my overall budget. Had it painted to match the car for less rhan $400.00 and it looks great. Having the hardtop has been well worth it.

Is this hardtop still for sale? I am interested with shipping to San Antonio, Tx 78009. I have a 1986 Convertible and I am trying to source the additional parts I will need to make it fit. Unfortunately if I can't get the parts to make it fit it does me no good. You talk about having to change the top plates around the windshield???, I know I have to have special brackets for the door posts but haven't heard about having to replace the top plates around the windshield (can't find this). Thank you.
