FS: Dual Mass Flywheel for ZF6
I just finished the single mass conversion on my '93.. so, $225.00 takes it! I had to convert to the single mass flywheel due to installing a new motor that has a two piece rear main.
This includes standard UPS Ground shipping. If you're in the northeast, meeting up somewhere may be a possibility too! :chevy

Re: FS: Dual Mass Flywheel for ZF6 (EricVonHa)
I just want to ask you about your single mass flywheel set up. What part #'s did you use or from what car. My car has 74sbc motor and too has 2 piece rear main so I can't use the dual mass.
Thanks, and good luck with your sale.

Re: FS: Dual Mass Flywheel for ZF6 (88WHITE VETTE)
The new flywheel that you purchase for a block with a 2 piece rear main depends on whether or not your motor was internally or externally balanced.
From there, you can use your existing pressure plate, clutch disc, and slave cylinder assembly. However, some people will advise you to use the Camaro clutch disc because it has a sprung hub (less noise from the ZF6). I didn't notice any additional noise, though, the car make a lot of racket itself! ;)
I've heard that some people have had to get their new single mass flywheels turned down (machined) just a hair to compensate for clearance issues with the pressure plate and clutch fork in relation to the bell housing. I had no issues whatsoever. I ordered my flywheel from Centerforce. Check out their website, it has a good chart for all Chevy s.b. scenarios. Hope this helps. -E
