My car started bucking and surging and will die at idle. It cranks and will not restart right away. Then after parking for about 2 hours it would fire right up and die as soon as you let off the key. Now after another 2 hours it starts and runs fine and the SES lite is off. Is this pointing at the opti-spark? If it is it will be the third one in about 7 months.
Any ideas as to whats going on? The first time I replace the opti-spark and the water pump with new GM parts. The second time about 3months ago I replaced the opti-spark, plugs and wires with new GM parts. What the heck is up? Any suggestions would be welcome.
