Good tuner/Scanner for 92 lt1?
Previous owner told me the corvette had a "hyper" chip. Now i know these cars have a OBD1, how hard is it to"tune" or chip these cars? I just need some guidance to understand the process and which brands are good and bad.
Thanks

Yep. I am looking for the same solution for my 92.

The '92 has a calpak or chip. I think PCMforLess burns chips for them. A paper clip is all you need for reading trouble codes.

For tuning, look into TunerCat and TunerPro RT. You will need to buy an EPROM programmer, a new chip, and an adapter. I recommend you look on moates.net for all of that. The chip is an 27SF512 I think. The adapter allows you to piggyback the calpack knock sensor with the new chip.
For scanning, I'm using a bluetooth adapter from 1320 electronics and ALDLDroid. No more lugging a laptop. Just bring your phone or tablet with you!
