How do I download the tune in the ECM to my laptop and save it.

Thanks

Contact Accel and find out how to do it (if it's possible).

A lot depends on how the tune is stored in the ECM. If it's in an EPROM then you would have to remove it and use a PROM burner to extract the information.

If it's in an EEPROM then the system probably has the capability of doing the backup through the serial port.

Thanks for your input but you are incorrect. The profile can be edited directly from the laptop when I connect it, no burner needed

I said the burner was needed ***IF*** the tune is stored in an EPROM.

I also said your software should be able to read it if it's stored in an EEPROM, which obviously is the case.
