1992 Vette C41- need a little more info about where to check
Hi everyone,
Well, here's where I'm at.
I had the auto trans cable break a while back and I replaced it. That repair requires taking apart quite a bit of the dash.
Anyhow, fast forward to today, I'm getting the c41 code when I pull the codes. I believe it has to do with ecm/ccm communication.
The car will crank fine but not fire at all. At key on, I am getting sys error, coolant fans are on full speed and several other errors such as service asr, service engine soon, service abs.
These codes are after having the battery undone for an hour. I am also getting:
1. c41, h41
4 - err
9. h72 h83
Over the past year the car has gone through a lot. I changed the fuel pump, regulator, shifter cable, and recently the opti. I am also changing the water pump but haven't reinstalled that yet.
Anyhow, what are the areas that I should pay particular concern to when I take the dash apart to inspect the ccm connections and what not? I've read a few other threads talking about the problems but I didn't really see what fixed the situation.
