Default Power expectations

So I purchased a Moates cable kit to do data logging and watch the parameters of my 94 m6 coupe. I want to also get into tunning. I use to tune my 05 and 06 gto's a while back. But that was with HP Tuners. I know I will also have to buy another tool (tunercat, tunerpro) to actually tune and flash.

My main question is, what kind of extra power numbers are you guys getting from an LT1 94+ car with an m6? Let's say with an intake and cat back exhaust, then a tune. Do you actually feel the difference?

Probably 10 hp ,if that. Get headers and then it wakes up more to about 20-25hp

On a LT1 the mods to the throttle body and intake will get you nothing unless you have major mods. A cat back would be mainly for sound over the stock exhaust as it flows very well already, again unless major mods.

Modding your stock air box and adding a K&N filter would be the best place to start, then a X pipe in place of the resonator, followed by some tuning should net some decent gains.

There is plenty of disagreement over K&N filters and some potentially serious problems. It should be obvious that I no longer believe the hype for a 'solution' that costs plenty more than quality paper filters, while delivering little, nothing, or less.

The car currently has an OBX cat back system that came with the car when I purchase it. I also noticed someone drilled holes in the intake panel where the filter goes. There's also a k&n in there.
