I have 1994 LT1 that has a misfire; the OptiSpark unit was replace with a AC-Delco and is 7 years old with only 7,000 miles on it; no visible signs of a coolant leak etc. Is this an Opti issue, bad ground, spark or ?? I've read a number of posts that seem to point to the Opti but I'm wondering if there are other possible issues.

start by inspecting / changing spark plugs and Wires. Afterwards you can tell from there

Wires were replaced and I changed the passenger side plugs; will work on the drivers side next.

Replaced the optispark distributor with only 7K miles on it; car runs good. A very expensive part for so few miles... Nothing looks overly 'worn out' so I'm not sure what went wrong.
