IAT and timing
I'm beginning to believe that my IAT is pulling timing when my engine warms up. I get more stumbles when the engine is hot, as well as knock counts. This usually occurs around 2300 when I put it under load.
Still trying to find out if my knock is false or not.
Is there a way to test the IAT with an inferred temp gun?
This all wasn't a problem till headers and rear gear change this last winter.
Thx for any help

What year is the car?
IAT has nothing to do with pulling timing. The timing is affected by the knock sensor(s).
The knock sensors are basically microphones. Anything that affects the noise the engine makes can cause the knock sensors to report knocks.
