I was looking through my Datamaster-ee program and noticed the Clean Canister boolean bit. What exactly is happening when this bit goes true?

Other sources call that "canister purge", which gives a much better idea of what's going on. The canister is purged under certain conditions. Basically the fuel vapors in the canister are sucked out and fed into the intake manifold (or throttle body in later years).
