LPE 211 or TPIS ZZ-9? (poll)
The time has come for a cam and head upgrade. I am retaining the TPI style intake set up as listed in my sig. Which cam do you recommend?

I've had the ZZ-9 coupled w/AFR 190 since '99 and highly recommend it for L-98. Not sure about the LPE 211. If you want the specs I could provide them.

I'd call comp cams and see what they recomend. When I was selecting a cam, I used the desktop dyno program to plug in many different cams. The cam they recomended made the most power on the dyno program. Umfortunately it was backordered....

For an example of the ZZ-9 on a TPI L98 check out results of mods to a L98 on my site.
I would like to see similar results of the 211 on a TPI engine.

I've never tried the LPE, but the ZZ-9 has been in my car for close to 5 years now. It runs strong, sounds good and am very pleased with it.

I have a 211 in my LPE 383 with CNC'd 90 GM heads and large runner tpi. It makes good power across the curve (see sig) even tho it was designed for a superram.
