After your resonse last night I ran the car up the ramps, I found a lose nut (frozen) on one of the exhaust manifold studs, it creates noise and vibration in the exhaust system, could this be enough to set off the knock sensor. Also can I splice a new end in for the sensor? How much noise does it take to set off the sensor? I appreciate the help.

that bolt could set off the knock sensor... if it hits at the right frequency.

it's not noise that sets off a knock sensor, it's vibration, at a specific frequency, measured in Hertz.
