Default SS Brake Line question

I'm acquiring all the pieces to install the C5 calipers and rotors in my 85 and wanted to also upgrade to braided SS brake lines. The question is do I order the brake lines for my 85 or do I need special brake lines? Also do I need to change the bias spring in the master cylinder, if so where do I get this part?

You don't need to change the Bias Spring however, I did this mod and I liked the results. I believe it is a Doug Rippie Motorsports item that you can get from them or you can pay more for it and get it from the likes of Mid America Design, Hecklers ETC.

I don't know about the fitment of the SS lines

Order brake lines for your year, they'll work with the C5 setup.

That is correct. When I did mine I just ordered SS lines for a '94 and they fit the C5 calipers w/o any problems. Good luck on the upgrade and you'll love the increased braking performance.
