Default Camshaft for rebuild?

What is a good camshaft to install when I rebuild my '91 L98 Auto? I am going for mostly stock with hopefully a mild upgrade to around 300 HP.

Sounds like a good candidate for for the ol' Hotcam. It'll give you a nice little "drive-in" lope but nothing too radical and still have excellent drivability.

The ZZ9 cam is pretty good for the L98.

It would be a good idea to pocket port the heads and install 2.00/1.56 valves with a 5-angle valve job.

What do those cams do to emissions? Also, is there anythign I need to take into consideration with the rear gears being changed to 3.73?

That cam should work well for emissions.

With the gear change you will need to change the pickup gears in the tranny so that the VSS signal will be correct.
