LT1 Radiator cap, psi??
Stock PSI is 7lb I know, But since I am replacing the radiator in my 77 I want to know what you guys might have upgraded to if at all.
I think goiung 16 PSI might be a bit much but I don't know. I will also be installing the pressurized fill tank after fabricating a bracket for it.
Comments? Suggestions? Lude Remarks? Free beeer?

Melting Slicks
I thought they were 15 psi, but found that all the parts houses refer them as a 16. I agree I thought this was a lot, but I am running a 16 psi and no issues...
The higher the psi the higher the boil over point...

My old cap said 15psi, and it was the one on there when I bought the car in 97, so I guess it was original. I just replaced it, and all I found was the 16psi cap. It should work fine.
