OK, I looked at the VE tables. It's not clear to me what it is you are trying to
do, but if I ran that table in my engine I'd expect to blow the head gaskets out
within the first 20 minute drive. IMHO it looks 10-15% too lean for a normal
TPI 350.

Have you actually run the car on the highway with those numbers?


As for a guide to where you are supposed to be; are you carefully following the
PROM tuning instructions from the TGO site?

If so it looks to me like you have some major mechanical problems.


Learning to edit a PROM is a commendable undertaking. However before you
can begin there are a number of steps that must be accomplished first:

* A leak-down test on all 8 cylinders to verify compression
* Verify the ignition is correctly wired and is firing & advancing properly
* Verify ALL the sensors are plugged in and working - that is IAT, TPS, MAP, O2, VSS, etc.
* Check for vacuum leaks on the intake
* Ensure all 8 injectors are in good condition & flowing ~equally
* Battery needs to be charged & alternator must be making 13-14 V
* Fuel pump needs to show ~45 psig at the rail under full-flow conditions


Once you know the engine and ancillary equipment are 100% sound, you
should be able to start it with a stock (or nearly stock) bin and then
follow the PROM tuning instructions from the TGO site.

Once the part-throttle fuel tables are roughed-in you can start working on the
spark tables to eliminate knock and sort out drivability. It requites time,
patience, and taking good notes. YMMV.

ok.. i am working on the idle blms now. they were at 108 before i took 15% fuel out of the hole table. the blm at idle is perfect now. but i have not driven it yet.. it was very rich before i put it away for the winter, blms were mostly at 108 all the time. and my afr meter was reading 11/5-12/1 at wot.

1)injectors are brand new svo 24's
2)compression all good.. new heads..10.8/1 cr.
3)sensors all look like they are working fine. im going to put a new heated o2 in for the hell of it
4) new bosch high flow fuel pump. fuel pressure guage reads perfect.
5) ignition perfect and at 6*btdc.
6) the only thing i havent checked it vacuum but its not acking like a vacuum leak..

i keep my fuel pressure a 44lbs.. i just think the injectors are flowing more that they should, or possiblly defective injector. not sure,but ive heard the svos rate 2-3lbs more than rated for in corvettes because of higher fuel pressure.

i had 2 excellent chip progamers do chips for me and it would not run well at all, both were very rich.. assuming every thing is working properly, which im 90% sure it is. all the data i have leads to too much fuel..i will now more when i drive it.. but i am kinda stumped, not with chip programming, with why i keep needing to remove fuel.
