Thanks!
I got the soft top off, removed the 9 screws holding the front of the liner in (took a pic) for the documentary. Now, the headliner seems fastened to a plastic strips that run along the length of the...struts. so the video will help.

The weatherstripping was purchased via special order from Autozone Called METRO. pretty cheap...but did not include the long piece that goes under the back of the top against the deck. Called the company from the box and they mailed it out, 60 bucks. so i think it was 200 bucks all together.

The top is off ebay. plastic window. When i get to the office I will post prices and suppliers.

Agaiin, thanks for taking the time to get the video out. more later.

Can you make me a copy of your video, I'll pay you for it. I've checked all over and can't find a video anywhere else. Send me your address and I'll send you a check.

Before you think about shelling out your hard earned cash on this video you may want to see it first as this things has been copied so many times that to say it is a bit fuzzy is nothing short of accurate. That is why I make and ship these out for FREE. I've recieved some hats, t-shirts that sort of thing as a thank you from the reciever of the videos, but I have never asked for anything in return.

I would love to have a copy of the video. I received a new top for Christmas for my '96.
Some people say farm the job out, others say it's hard but just take your time.

I'll gladly pay for the time and mailing costs, or just send you a gift certificate to some place.
Your time is worth something.

Thanks gang. Just PM me.

ive watched half the video that i was sent. it is sort of fuzzy, but still plenty good enuf to use. so far, it looks like the process is very doable. in fact, i was relieved to see how the removal is pretty straight forward.
again, ill be taking stills and documenting the process and putting that on my website, and the video will be forwarded to others, as it was forwarded to me. Thanks again!

Chuck

thanks for the taking the time to prepare and send the video! Im sure it will make all the difference in doing this job myself, and save me $600 so i am very grateful. I will be sending you an 'honorarium" for your time and effort.

i will similarly copy and forward it to others if that is ok.

It is people like you that make the CF such a valuable resource.

Your welcome, I think we should consider this a permanent "pay-it-Forward" video for us C4 brothers.
