What are the chances it's a bad relay?
'94 LT1, manual A/C, 53K miles on the car. Checked the fuse and compressor plug-in, no luck. Compressor doesn't seem to come on, nor does the secondary cooling fan.
Gonna replace that relay tomorrow. Any other advice? I'm an A/C dufus
BTW, heater does work and blower blows on all speeds.

Most A/C shops have a free diagnosis test. I would say to call them in the morn' to find out if they do. It si very possible it is a relay. But it could be a chafed wire. fusable link, ect. I'm not 100% on all the stuff the newer vettes have. So i'm not sure what is in the electrical circuit.

Does the light on the head unit blink, if so the computer has shut off the A/c. I just had my freon refilled and the computer cleared. Works fine now.

Did you have the freon level check yet? If the freon is low it is not going to allow the compressor to engage. The head pressure won't be there as one of the variables that sets the secondary fan to on, however you can let it heat up to 232F and it should kick on.

Once the ECM gets a low charge indication (usually .8 volt or less from the pressure switch), a/c operation is shut down and a trouble code is set. It won't ground the compressor relay until the code is cleared, so you need to disconnect the battery or remove power from the ECM. Once you've done that, and if there is enough charge in it, the compressor should kick back on until the code resets. Easier to trobleshoot with a scanner, particularly if it doesn't have auto a/c, though I think you can still display the low charge code through the speedo. If it is low on gas, you will need to clear the code and jumper the low pressure switch harness to get it recharged.
