C4 Performance Shop in NY-NJ NEEDED!
I've been having an overheating problem for the last two times at the 1/4 track. After the first time it overheated I cleaned out what little debris was under the radiator, replaced the hoses, changed the thermostat from a 160 to a 160, flushed out the radiator, and added proper coolant. I ran the car for a couple of days (about 50 miles) running it very hard when the roads were safe . No problems what so ever the fans came on at 195.
Next time out I had the same problem one time trial at Englishtown and she overheated again. I tried taking out the Thermostat (thanks for the tools ECS) but she still overheated. It appears the water pump is fine. I am in desperate need of a shop to work on my 95 C4 (DRM 383 conversion) for this problem as well as the need for a fresh dyno tune.
Can anyone suggest a shop that works on C4's in NY-NJ. Thanks.

I had experience like yours some years ago; turned out to be a slipping belt. Only did it at the track: Idling in the staging lanes, one burnout, then a high rpm 1/4 mile run. You could check the idler pulley before heading to the Island. My $0.02.
