Default Rear spring shims?

I'm about to replace the broken rear spring in my '88.

there are shims above and below the the spring where it mounts in the middle. How do I determine the proper shims for the new spring? I am trying to get one the same rate as the OE.

Thanks

Default

If you use the same rate of spring, the shims will be the same. These are matched to the spring. If you want new ones, the dealer should be able to get the correct ones. This is also covered procedurely in the manual if you have one.
