Default Torque specs req'd for rocker arm nuts?

I have a 90 L98 that I'm working on, I'm wondering if there is a torque specification for putting on the rocker arm nuts (the female threaded 'studs' that screw onto the male threaded studs on top of the rockers). Does anyone know if there is a torque spec and if so, how much?

Are you talking about polylocks?

They have a nut (allen wrench drive) in the center of the shaft nut which tighten's down on the rocker arm.

I don't believe there is one if that is the case you are referring to, just damn tight! At least that is what I have been told.

If you are referring to the nuts themselves that hold the rockers down, there is no torque spec, that is based on setting valve lash. For tips on doing that go to tech tips>cross-generation>how to set valve lash

Does that answer your question?

Yeah, when I did mine I just adjusted it, than locked the nut down tightly.
