Default LT4 top speed in each gear - can't find

I can't seem to find that chart that had the LT4 max speed in each gear.

Anyone know where that is posted?

Thanks

PM Nathan Plemons. He had a link to a spread sheet he had created for this purpose, but I can't find it either.

Thanks,

I think what I saw was a scanned road test of a Grand Sport by C&D or R&T that had the specs.

Pretty close to what you posted.

I'd like to be able to remember where that link was. Maybe not still up.

first and second are close but
i am confused with your gear number three. -

i revlimited in third for half a sec coming to the line and the track said i did 102.5. then next try i went into fourth and pulled 104.5 - but my spedo said 105 the first and 107 the second.

this was after having my car for one month. though i pulled a 13.527 at 102.2 but this was when my opti would miss underload and you could feel the throttle pulse
weird?
dont know how i pulled three 13.6's at 104.1-.6 and my 13.5 at 102.2

PPL have always commented on how my car stays in gear for a long time, but its not enough where I think the previous owner did anything w/ the final drive ratio. That was on 285/40-17's, dunno on 275/40-17's

really close - in my experience (not that I've tried ) 51, 75, 101, 126, still pulling hard at 151

I have a 383 and I pull 113mph on the limiter, but that is at around 6800rpm, so 107-109 is about right for the stocker, pulled 191mph in 5th almost on the limiter, like 6600rpm, that was flying.

I've got that issue of CandD at home. If the speeds are significantly different than what Birdman and Shaun posted, I'll post the CandD results when I get home. I do remember that the GS would not pull redline in fifth gear, but topped out at something like 5500 at 169mph.

RPM 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
1000 07 12 16 22 32
2000 15 25 31 45 63
3000 22 37 47 67 95
4000 29 50 63 90 126
5000 36 62 78 112 158
6000 44 75 94 134 189
6100 44 76 96 137 192
6200 45 77 97 139 196
6300 46 78 99 141 199
6400 47 80 100 143 202

I wasent that far off, but again. I dunno why I trap 7-8mph higher than that. That was done w/ a 285/40-17 tire, stock zr6 ratios and a 3.45 rear gear. See for yourself.

Did that wrong, these numbers are using the ratios off the zfdoc.com.

6300 53 78 109 141 188 282
6400 53 80 111 143 191 287

Again same setup tire and rear end size, only using the ratios below.
Gear ratios - 1st-2.68, 2nd-1.80, 3rd-1.29, 4th-1.0, 5th-0.75, 6th-0.50, Reverse-2.50

I concur with high 120's in 4th gear. and I have no idea how anyone gets the car over 140. I tried at Pocono, and once I'm in 5th, the increase in speed in very slow.

this is all my personal track experience, not magazine data.

froggy: If you want theoretical topspeed in each gear...just punch up the numbers in a gear calculator...this doesn't mean your car will hit these speeds!

Gear Calculator

For quarter mile mph...remember the speed is calculated as an average of the last section of track-not instant mph speed.

Stock I knew it was a good run when I was on the limiter in third as well...with a best of 110 mph (6400 rpm on OEM LT4-no it never blew up!)
