Default what pushrods and lifters?

hey guys whats up?
i have a 1996 auto lt1 and i am going with the 1.6 gm rrs, 986-16 springs, and the rest lt4 hotcam kit parts.

i will port the heads and go with some larger valves but what type of push rods and lifters should i buy? i want something that can handle a 300 shot of n20 and a 383.

what pushrods and lifters do i need to get?
thanks alot

I believe the 986 springs are the behive correct? If so then they control the valves without excessive spring pressure. And you said it's going to be a 383 so your not going to be spinning high rpm? I would go with some decent chromemoly pushrods and maybe compcams roller lifters. Now about that 300 shot............ If this is what you have in mind then pushrods and lifters are going to be the last of your problems.

The lifters are universal, pushrod length depends on if you've had your heads or block milled. That would shorten the clearance between lifter and rocker. If you have a Summit catalogue they show the different lengths.
