Default Power Loss At Higher Rpms 91 L98

I Have A 91 L98 With The 6 Speed Man Trans That Is Losing Power After It Gets To Around 2500 Rpms. I Was Told That It Has A Code 42 And That Replacing The Plugs And Wires Should Get Rid Of It. Well I Put A Cap ,rotor Coil ,wires And The Gm Recomended Plugs In It And It Didnt Change . Ever Heard Of This Happenning . Just Out Of The Blue? Thanks For Your Time.

what mods do you have on the car? if you have a fuel pressure gauge tester, test the fuel pressure at all rpms. if your fuel pressure is below
38-40 psi at any given rpm you could potentially have a bad fuel filter or pump or pressure regulator. don't go out and purchase a fuel pump, see if you can get someone in your area to lend you a fuel pressure test guage and let's go from there

any body else have any ideas?

As low are your RPMs are at I would check into a clogged cat. Check the FP but I bet your cat is junk.

Post this in C4 tech as you'll get better responses.
