Where is my Ignition Control Module ???
Where is the ignition control module located on my 93 LT1, and is there any test for this item to see if it bad??
I'm just getting back to work on the car now after it quit on me Monday.

It sits above the coil on the front of the pass side head.2 screws hold it to a plate.You can take it to a part store like autozone to get it checked.Make sure they heat it up enough as most problems with them are when hot.There is thermal paste on the back of it make sure you use it and do not remove it or the module will cook.It uses the bracket as a heat sink.

Check your Helms manual. I had a problem with my 84 and the manual has a step by step process to check the module.

Don't forget to check your coil, too. When my coil tanked on me two years ago, it took the ICM with it, resulting in a crank, no-start condition.
