My 86 owners manual states 4 oz. or 118 milliliters of Limited Slip Lubricant Additive, then fill to lever of the filler plug hole. No mention anywhere of how much. I would think that two quarts would more than cover it. My Dodge Dakota with 8.25 axle took just about two quarts so this should take less. Are you going to use synthetic?

Hope this helps you.
