How can I stop this pinging????? I need to stop it b4 Wed., for the track.
I might take my 95 Vette to the track for the first time, but I don't wanna hurt anything because of the pinging. How can I stop it??? Thanks,Suke.

I don't know exactly what the problem is, but if it were me....
1.get some fuel injector cleaner into it
2.some premium gas too
3.recheck the timing (if it has a custom or aftermarket chip it may require a different from stock setting, you'll need the paperwork or conact the chip maker).
4.check fuel pressure ( could need a new fuel filter or pump?)
5. check the other things, throttle position sensor, ect..
hope you find the problem..
