Default Auto-X-Ray EZ-Link scaner & 1985

After fighting a code 22 as identified by the above scanner and giving up and taking the car to a electrical specialist, they identified it as a code 23! MSEVEN and TJWONG had been helping trouble shoot this problem. But a 22 is SURE different than a 23.

I finally got Auto-X-Ray to return my phone calls today. I was informed that the protocol for the 85 corvette was different than all other GM cars and that their scanner does not support this car. Nor do they have a patch or other software that does. when I bought the scanner a couple of years back there is no indication anywhere in any of theie documentation that the tool with not work with a 85.

SO IF YOU HAVE AN 85 FORGET AUTO-X-RAY!

That sucks - the Auto X-Ray is not a cheap investment!

I had the opportunity to borrow my brother's AutoXray 5000 and I wasn't impressed. Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you.
