Default Replacement turn signal cancel cam

Just a note to everyone to not make the mistake that I did.

The turn signal cancelling cam and horn contact broke on my 96...actually only the horn contact. So I went to local GM dealer and got a replacement....$20. As I was looking at it I thought for sure I had seen these at the auto parts store.

So stopped by Checker Auto a few hours later and yep...there on the HELP rack was the exact same part...price.....$2.09 ! ! ! I almost bought it to take back to the GM dealer for a refund......ARGH....

So if your horn stops working it maybe due to the small plastic piece that is part of the turn signal cancelling cam....go and get one off the HELP rack and not GM.
