Default Dynamax Vortex Cones

I have a set of vortex cones that I would like to install in my system. I bought them used so no instructions... Which direction do they face? Cone pointed forward (to the front of the car<<) or rearward (to the rear of the car>>)? Thanks!

I installed them pointed forward and right before the cat. They really reduced the sound.

Normally people ask questions like what's the best wax, etc.

I'm curious how those end up working for you. I've heard a lot of folks say they cut down on noise.
