MSD 8253 coil background?
'87 L-98, Heavily modified, 25+ psi boost.
MSD 6AL, MSD IP distributor, MSD Blaster II coil, Jacobs wires, Autolite plugs.
I spoke to MSD about the spark "snuff" issue with my application. They suggested that I try an MSD 8253 ignition coil.

Does anyone have any info or experience with this coil. MSD also said since my blaster II coil is from back in the early 90s, it is probably due replacement anyways. The HVCII coil can go down to 0.018" gap, but to keep the gap as wide as possible. Current gap is 0.029".
Thanks in advance,
Aaron
