Cruise Control Indicator Light????????

Default Cruise Control Indicator Light????????
Is there an indicator light on the dashboard that lights when the Cruise Control is switched on? I have an 88 automatic and cannot find where the indicator (if there is any) should be in the Helms manual.

My '91 doesn't have one and neither does my '97 GMC PU. I guess GM doesn't think the driver needs to know if a vehicle is on cruise. I like to be reminded that the cruise is on.
