Re: SuperChargers & MiniRam setup ?'s (tntcorvette)
I've heard that the tpis miniram has problems with fuel or air starvation in the rear cylinders...this scares me when I think about upgrading to a supecharged setup with a tpis miniram.
can anyone confirm this and if so, is there a fix? I.E. Extrude Hone, etc???
Anyone have a s/c'd miniram setup?
Don't believe everything you hear. You can see my set up by clicking below my signature.

Tnt I had this fuel distribution problem Without a S/C so I could imagine that it would be worse with one.I really could'nt find the fix for it until I made my own intake (witch is a 4bbl intake converted to EFI) very much like the Accel piece.I personally would not run a miniram for this reason.

I've been running the Mini Ram with a supercharger for about 6 years now without any problems, That being said, as with any modified fuel injected engine you need to make sure that your timing and fuel maps are correct. I'm running a Haltech aftermarket computer with MSD 50 lb. injectors which run at 85% at WOT. Fuel delivery and volume is very important.

What kinda times you running with your car?I did not have problems till my car started to make more power.
Like I posted before fuel injection requires proper mapping of fuel and timing, also fuel volume is equally as important.

8388 are you running an intercooler with this set up.I'm running a 383 with an ATI supercharger 13pounds of boost no intercooler.Intake is accel ported, extrude honed runners and ported plenum and was thinking of going to a Mini-Ram. Also running a digital fuel injection.

Same blower made 10 lb. of boost on my friends 350, guess my 383 is eating 3 pounds.
