Default Some smoke from the defrost vent

Sorry for the hasty nature of this post, but I'm considering grabbing a 88 for very cheap, just checked it out, and the only thing that I was iffy about was a bit of smoke that came out of the defrost vent when I finished my drive around the block. What would this be?

Thanks for any quick replies

It's around 4000 US for a dark blue 88 with many small-medium issues. Has low km and runs strong and shifts well, 1990 wheels in great shape, Z51, and I figure I could sell my 87 and be ahead in the money department with a colour I much prefer...no pics of note to share, just got back from taking a quick peek.

EDIT : 4000 US for a C4 in Canada is really really cheap.

See my last post, Agent...the paint on hood and some seat+weatherstripping concerns me way more than heater core.

$4,000 US isn't bad, even in the US! Especially if you can do the heater core yourself.

I do most of the work myself on my Vettes but a local Radiator shop gave me a price of $150.00 for the job on my 89, I couldn't pass that up. Good Luck

I've seen this before, the heather core is going on it. My friend had his 78 done and they charged him 800.00

I had my 87 down to the heater core when installing sound insulation, so not too worried, been there before!

It's already in BC, so no exchange - just gave US dollars as example.
