96 LT1 head bolt size?
I've decided to order OEM bolts for my head gasket replacement. The 2 medium size bolts in each head have been replaced by the longer one. The longer bolts are about 1/2 longer. Has anyone used the longer bolts in the medium head bolt location? I'm worried about coolant flow restriction if they do go into the coolant passage.
Medium bolt # 14088946 is replaced with #10168526 the long bolt. I've confirmed this with 3 different online GM parts dealers.

Just get a set of ARP bolts and call it a day. Then you won't have to put up with such nonsense. Plus unlike the GM bolts, they're reusable.
